Drowning in the Delta

Drowning is the leading cause of death among children 1-4 years in Bangladesh. The good news is that these deaths can be prevented. Bloomberg Philanthropies partnered with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health to study the crisis, and found that community-based daycares are very effective at preventing drowning in children under five.
