Talal Hasan

Talal is the Founder and CEO of 44.01, a technology start-up that eliminates CO2 by turning it into rock. Talal founded 44.01 in 2020 with the goal of accelerating the natural process of carbon mineralisation to remove CO2 permanently, safely and at scale. The company won the Earthshot Prize and an Elon Musk Institute XPrize in 2022, and now has operations in Oman and the UAE.
