November 3-5, 2025 | São Paulo, Brazil
Bloomberg Philanthropies convened global leaders from government, business, finance, academia, and civil society for the COP30 Business and Finance Forum, a three-day dynamic series of events that will take place across São Paulo just days before COP30 in Belém.
The COP30 Business and Finance Forum centered on the COP30 Presidency’s key goals: strengthening multilateralism, accelerating the implementation of the Paris Agreement, and connecting climate to people and business. The Forum underscored the vital role of the business and finance sectors in accelerating sustainable economic solutions and mobilizing capital from both the public and private sectors, and reinforce the private sector’s commitment to advancing a more resilient and low-carbon economy.
The COP30 Business and Finance Forum and the COP30 Local Leaders Forum reflect Bloomberg Philanthropies’ longstanding commitment to convening cross-sector leaders and advancing real-world climate solutions in support of the UN Climate Agenda and COP Presidencies.
“Visionary leaders who anticipate the radical changes ahead will be the ones who prosper by building resilience and tapping into the outstanding opportunities the transition ahead offers. COP30 will serve as the global stage where these transformative trends converge, offering leaders unparalleled opportunities to be at the forefront of the next economy.”
COP30 President-Designate Ambassador André Corrêa do Lago
“The COP30 Business and Finance Forum in São Paulo will showcase Brazil as a premier destination for sustainable investment, highlighting our advantages in renewable energy, critical minerals, green innovation, and industrial plants powered by cheap, clean energy.”
