The Earthshot Prize and Bloomberg Philanthropies co-hosted The Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit in New York City on September 21, 2022. The Summit focused on driving systems-changing climate solutions to repair our planet by bringing together heads of state, government leaders, philanthropists, business executives, and grassroots climate activists from around the world to showcase, replicate, and scale the groundbreaking solutions needed to tackle the world’s most pressing environmental challenge.
Speakers included New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Arden, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Bill Gates, Earthshot Prize Finalists and Winners, Oscar the Grouch, pre-recorded remarks from His Royal Highness Prince William, and many more who called for collaboration and courage to repair and restore the planet.
