Tonight: Tune in to “One World: Together at Home”

As we all shelter-in-place and take precautions to combat the spread of COVID-19, many of us have wanted to do even more to help including by supporting health workers who are bravely on the frontlines in our hospitals, homes, and living facilities. Whether clapping at a shift change or donating vital gear like ventilators, masks and gowns, Americans and American businesses have come together – from home and online – to support our health workers.

Tonight, celebrities, musical artists, government leaders, and activists will come together during ‘One World: Together At Home’ – a globally televised and streamed special to celebrate and support healthcare workers in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic – and we hope you tune in!

Bloomberg Philanthropies is partnering with Global Citizen to support the ‘One World: Together At Home’ initiative and special which will present commitments from philanthropists, governments and corporations to support and equip frontline healthcare workers around the world. As a broadcast partner, Bloomberg Television and Bloomberg Radio will air the special globally on Saturday, April 18th at 8 PM/ET. A pre-taped video of Bloomberg Philanthropies Founder, and three-term mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg will air between 6-7pm ET in the digital broadcast.

Launched by international advocacy organization Global Citizen, and the World Health Organization, “One World: Together At Home” is a historic, first-of-its kind global broadcast event to support and celebrate the brave healthcare workers doing life-saving work on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Curated in collaboration with Lady Gaga, the “One World: Together At Home” broadcast special will include performances and appearances by Alicia Keys, Amy Poehler, Andrea Bocelli, Awkwafina, Billie Eilish, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Burna Boy, Camila Cabello, Celine Dion, Chris Martin, David & Victoria Beckham, Eddie Vedder, Ellen DeGeneres, Elton John, FINNEAS, Idris and Sabrina Elba, J Balvin, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban, Kerry Washington, Lang Lang, Lizzo, LL COOL J, Lupita Nyong’o, Maluma, Matthew McConaughey, Oprah Winfrey, Paul McCartney, Pharrell Williams, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sam Smith, Shah Rukh Khan, Shawn Mendes, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, and Usher.
