The Position:

Bloomberg Connects is a rapidly growing, free app that lets you access museums, galleries, and cultural spaces around the world. Launched in November 2019, the app features engaging, multi-media guides with insightful and unique content exclusive to each of our partners. We believe technology opens doors, and we created the app as a part of our mission to make art and culture accessible to all – in-person, at-home, anywhere.   

The Bloomberg Connects team is seeking a Team Coordinator who will work to ensure strong coordination, connection, and communication among members of our growing team. Reporting to the Deputy Director, this role will provide day-to-day administrative support, including calendaring, meeting preparation, and data entry.  

Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendars and internal meetings: schedule appointments, coordinate team-building events, and anticipate needs and change/rearrange as appropriate 
  • Coordination with external stakeholders: arrange meetings, virtual information sessions, webinars, in-person convenings, and special receptions  
  • Prepare briefings and presentation materials 
  • Data entry: maintain data quality and integrity across range of platforms 
  • Field external and internal inquiries to appropriate team members; ensure timely response when urgent  
  • Coordinate travel arrangements: flights, ground transportation, hotels, etc.   
  • Assist with major team projects as needed—demonstrating the ability to respond to priorities and resourcing needs as they shift over the lifecycle of our programs  
  • Ensure projects are on schedule and deadlines are being met  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required  
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-performance work environment either through internships or full-time work  
  • Ability to effectively coordinate simultaneous projects, and successfully prioritize multiple tasks with sound judgment 
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and the demonstrated ability to effectively interface with senior level colleagues, both verbally and in writing  
  • Experience handling data and creating operational reports with a sharp eye for accuracy and detail   
  • Ability and desire to build and maintain strong relationships with team and applicable internal and external contacts 
  • Resourceful, motivated, efficient, pro-active, and customer service oriented  
  • Ability to protect confidential and sensitive information of the organization  
  • Proficient in MS Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and Google Workspace   
  • Experience with Bloomberg Terminal, Slack, and Asana a plus  
  • Passion for the arts, interest in philanthropy, and a commitment to the Bloomberg Philanthropies vision of creating better, longer lives for the greatest number of people

The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
